Leadership and Structure
AFA represents and promotes the interests of the Logistics & Trade business community, economic development representing innovators, leaders, professionals, businesses and focus on industries engagement. The AFA is managed by a Management Board and AFA Secretariat to perform a coordination role for all AFA day-to-day activities to ensure smooth function of the AFA.
The Secretariat's primary duties and roles are:
1. Organise the events and assist the heads of club hub and the co-chairmen of the management board;
2. Support the Working Groups' efforts to facilitate their discussions of matters of interest and reporting to AFA management board, high-level meetings, and other activities;
3. Organise information among the Working Groups and consolidate recommendations/strategies that might be used to solve the issues;
4. Follow up with government representatives regarding a range of topics brought up by AFA;
5. Monitor developments, create progress summaries on AFA raised issues, and extensively inform stakeholders.
